I'm in the process of re-doing my internal/external network.
Faced with having to shut down the CRANK TeAm Rc5 Proxy, I though I'd try and run a temp proxy on Klinux!
It works! Great!
I configured the proxyper.ini on my Linux box, tarballed it, put it on the same floppy I use to "import" the dnetc.ini, and setup a different ramdisk after Klinux booted.
The proxy with 20,000 WUs and logging turned off, only takes up 7% of a 4MB ramdisk.
It won't show any stats, as it's flushing straight to dnet, but I'll be able to just reconfigure Klinux to switch the proxy from CRANK's to my personal proxy's IP when I take that box down to make it my Domain Controller.
Cool Beans Bud!
/me needs some GOOD Rc5 news
