Want to Install

My current situation:
C: 1.97gb/109mb free/Healthy System//xp pro installed (stupid me)
D: 4.87gb/3.10gb free/Healthy Boot//xp pro installed
G: 12.1gb free/Healthy/nothing on it yet.

I want to delete all partitions and put everything at C: and install xp on it. How am I able to this? Or do you have any of your suggestions about on how to manage the space. Last time I accidently installed xp on c, and it lagged like hell! Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The way you made it sound is all 3 are logical drives on the same physical drive. If so, just boot from the windows CD. It will come up with the blue and white setup screen.
Tell it to delete all partitions. This should wipe everything. To be sure just do a full NTFS format and install normally.

That's the problem, when I tell it to delete everything, it says that can't delete the c partition.

My bad. You delete the other two and it should be one big partition now. Then you can reformat the lone drive to make sure everything is clean.

You'll have to use the C: Windows installation as if you change drive letters it can screw up a lot of stuff. What you'll have to do is modify the boot.ini file to remove the installation you don't want. Once booting to the C: install you should be able to merge the next partitions.

But 110MB free on the Windows partition isn't good. Personally, I would just start from scratch.

I installed, by following xp's instructions. Now I am on C: (one drive, no partition) It is set up and running smoothly now! No more noise on the hDd! Wow. Thanks all.
