Want Windows to lock every time I unplug a USB flash drive

As the title says, I'm looking for something that will automatically lock Windows when I unplug a USB flash drive, and preferably, also unlock Windows when I plug it back in without needing a username/password. I know there are hardware/software combinations out there that do things similar to this, like APC's biometric scanner. However, I'm looking for something that will let me do this with just any old USB flash drive. It would be nice if it could work on multiple machines with different username/password combinations, but that's not something I'll be too picky about.

Does anybody know of anything like this? I've googled and the closest thing I've found is something that will stop Windows from even booting if a USB drive isn't plugged in, but that's not at all what I want.

OK, I'll bite...

Twinmos had a utility that one could download (may work with other than Twinmos USB sticks) that did what you wanted. It sucked. I played with it, figured out a way to bypass it within minutes.

USBGeek had a hardware solution. Also see here. I haven't played with these and I suspect you're looking for free....lemmee know if you find anything descent for free.....

I just installed this on my work machine and every time I log in (either with my username/password or my USB key), the application faults winlogon.exe and my machine reboots. I'm not too surprised, as my work machine has had probably every piece of software under the sun installed on it at some point, so I'll try it on my home machine later tonight and report back if I have problems on that.

Glad to hear it. Although I haven't used it myself, I heard about the software a few months ago and was able to find the link for it via Google.
