To our Beta Testers--just an FYI-There are approx 6 volunteers that I can't seem to get emails through to--I'm thinking they are school addresses and maybe the school servers flunk out messages from commercial sites??? Those 6 will still be receiving C4 Beta Test Kits but may have to mail Feedback Forms back. (emails work coming from them to me but not from me to them). Thanks again. Sher, CS Hyde Company

Let me know if you need someone to test it still. I used to play Counter-Strike professionally (sponsored, get paid, etc) and still put a lot of intensive use on the computer and my mousepad. I regularly use my computer and am interested, if you need more info let me know.

In short yes. Someone was crusing the web looking for teflon tape, found their site and CSHyde received a flood of orders from people here at this board so they are trying to capitalize on this market that was openned to them.

BTW, the C4 mousepad is very good. I've been using it for a while now and it has held up great, tracks very nicely and is super fast. Have fun all you other beta testers.

Hi I would like to test this pad if there is still space. I use my comp all day long playing warcraft and unreal 2k3 with an mx700.

just got it in the mail today, right now testing it directly on my desk. What would make a good base for one of these? An old fashioned mousepad is just a bit too spongy for my taste.

That's the diversity of C4....there's many substrates you can adhere it to---wood (like a desktop), metal (metal desk, metal tray), paper (like a magazine), an old mousepad. You can experiment. Also, we can make these much bigger for those who like a larger area. Beta Samples are 8" x 9" but we can go way bigger (ie--16" x 16").

We are also going to keep pricing in a range that's affordable (between $5.00 to $6.00). We strongly recommend the Teflon Mouse Discs used with C4. This combo has Explosive Speed plus it reduces wear.

Looking forward to feedback from Beta Testers. Sher

Yes. Sher

I was wondering, one thing you might want to look into is making a transparent version? I say this because I use an everglide Giganta with a Razer boomslang (www.razerzone.com if you are unfamiliar) and it would begreat to have a transparent sheet that my logo would show through. This wouldnt even have to be competley transparent, in fact it would be better if it were not, I think the effect would be cooler if it were at least somewhat opaque.

Another suggestion I have is this:

Alot of gamers have everglide/ratpadz mousing surfaces... you might want to offer covers that are pre cut to fit these pads? Perhaps even for a nominal fee? (like maybe .50 cents or something)

Just some ideas because im excited about the product.

Also I don't know if you plan this, but a bundle deal with the surface as well as the mouse feet teflon would be cool!

I'm really looking forward to a really slick surface. I have a question though, is anyone testing this with a non optical mouse? For example is anyone using a precision mouse like my boomslang?

If not, I think you should get someone with a mouse like this to test the pad. I'd be willing to do it, but if someone else can do it that is cool to, I just want to know how well it works!

Thanks again

Yes. You are right. We ended up with approx 25. The first 10 answers on the Forum plus the first 10 emails that came direct to our offices. 5 more were added because of email address problems. The sample is now twice as big as planned. We had to stop when Beta Test samples ran out. We appreciate the overwhelming response. Sher

1. Yes, we could do pre-cut covers to fit Everglide or Ratpadz. C4 is can be removed and replaced easily when the user feels like it's time for a new one.
2. We are looking at a Mod Kit Product with C4 & Teflon Mouse Discs.
3. Until the feedback comes back from Beta Testers, we don't know what kind of mouse is used.
Thanks, Sher

I don't see the C4 on there yet.. am I missing something?[/quote]depends on what "there" you are talking about. The stated C4 purchase site is his store. It doesn't have the C4 on it yet, that is what the beta testing is about. If it yeilds good results (which I expect it will based on the review linked to) it will go up for sale.

If the "there" you are talking about is the review site, then yes, you've having problems as it is easily found.

No, I understand where the shop is, but your post made it seem like they were availible for purchase. Since the link is titles "Purchase Site" We already know where this company is located so placing the link was redundant unless it had new info.
