It happens,I also found out some players don't have a clue on how WP heals work(mechanics),they expect you to heal non stop,I told them I need to fight too now and then which helps my heals a lot.

One player was rude and said some nasty remarks,at this point I gave him some nasty words back and left the group(only healer so they lost out,even the the tank left the group after his rude fiasco),I was in a good group earlier before this as RP which have better heals then WP and the group really appreciated the heals in RvR region/during combat etc...


There some players still aound that are rude/arrogant and bascially need to work on their social skills to level 40 before even playing any MMORPG.

Having played tank and healer classes you realize how different the game plays with regards to what players expect,BW is probably the easiest to play,you just work on staying alive while in range combat and don't worry too much about other players.

Our maintenance patch 1.01 contains enhancements and fixes that you have rightly identified and brought to the forefront of our attention. Target Nearest has been revamped, the pesky "Target Out of Range" bug has been squashed, we?ve fixed bugs with /ignore and your friends list, resolved an issue with disappearing pet windows on zoning - and more!

Highlights

* Players no longer need to scroll down through the EUALA when logging into the game. The window now defaults to the bottom, and players need only check the Agreement box and click accept.
* The war against the gold sellers continues! We have made improvements to the Appeal system to allow players to report spam messages from gold sellers more quickly.
* TAB-targeting should now more consistently select the nearest enemy in the player's field of view.
* Corrected an issue that was preventing players from adding new friends to their friend list even while the number of existing friends was below the list's size limit.
* Fixed the issue that was causing players to sometimes get stuck in a particular animation state.
* Monsters which change velocity while moving in combat should no longer return "Target is Out of Range" sometimes when attacked by players.
* The /ignore command will now work more consistently.
* In response to player feedback, we have made improvements to player pet movement and behaviors.
* The Pet window should no longer disappear when its master is zoning or entering the game.
* We made many UI fixes including a new "autoloot" feature requested by many players.
* Guild cloaks will now display their heraldry properly.
* We have made several improvements to the chat window, and it should now be more intuitive to use and set up. A number of chat window issues were resolved in the process. We are continuing to work on your requests about chat, with more improvements to come in the future.


General Changes and Bug Fixes

* Player pets have learned to behave themselves. They should now listen to their masters and stay focused while in combat with monsters, rather than dancing erratically. In addition, they should follow obediently at their masters? side rather than spinning around.
* Monsters that are rooted in place will no longer appear to chase you if you flee from them, even though they are still rooted.
* Continued improvements have been made to client stability and performance.
* We have fixed an issue that was awarding an overly large experience bonus to players who killed many monsters in rapid succession (IE, several killing blows within a second or two of each other). This will largely only affect small groups that use AE abilities to kill off a very large number of monsters with a single ability activation.
* Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause roots to last longer than they should.
* The delay between sending multiple mails has been reduced from 20 seconds to 5 seconds.
* We have found and eliminated an occasional zone crash bug.

White Lion

* Fixed an issue that was allowing players to use the "Pounce" ability without an enemy target. The ability now requires an enemy target to jump towards.

Shaman

* The debuff from "Hurts, Don't It" will no longer stack with itself.



Content

* We have identified a couple of serious bugs that trivialize the content in the Lost Vale dungeon. We have disabled the dungeon entrance while we investigate these issues. Thank you for your understanding as we work to better your in game experience!
* The Public Quest "Wagon Defense" will no longer get stuck because of objectives spawning in trees.
* Fixed a bug in the "Wagon Defense" quest.
* The quest "Killing Time" should now allow players to gain credit when killing enemy characters in the Stone Troll Crossing scenario.
* Lorcar Perrithan no longer offers the quest "Phoenix Gate". Players can now obtain this quest from the Uthorin Warscout.
* The Gunbad instance lockouts will now be 30 minutes instead of 24 hours.
* We have corrected an issue that was preventing Erikwuf Wrathbound from offering the "Good Will" quest.
* Some monsters have been identified that were dropping Destruction items for Order players. These monsters will now drop Order items for Order players.
* Fixed an issue with the spawning of burning bushes in the "Rewards for the Faitfhful" quest.


UI

* A feature has been added to User Settings which allows players to auto loot corpses by default. Players can enable this feature by selecting the "always auto loot" option, under the game play section. Please note that holding shift while looting with the option enabled will cause you to loot normally. When the option is disabled, shift-loot will still auto loot all.
* Guild cloaks will now retain heraldry settings through zoning.
* Corrected an issue that was preventing players from adding new friends to their friend list even while below the list's size limit
* Improvements to the behavior of TAB-targeting. This should now more accurately target the nearest enemy in the player's field of view.
* The /ignore command will now work more consistently
* The Pet window should no longer disappear when zoning or entering the game
* In some cases, the chat window would reset to default position upon logout. This should no longer occur.
* Resizing the chat window should no longer cause the chat window to reposition itself.
* The text entry button is now colored to match the color of the channel the player is currently defaulting to for text entry.
* Hitting enter no longer fades in the entire chat window, instead it just fades the text entry box.
* Changing resolutions should no longer cause the chat tab labels to disappear.
* If more chat tabs are created than the width of the chat window is able to display, then buttons allowing the player to scroll forward and backwards through the chat tabs will appear.
* When resizing the chat window, players will now get a resizing cursor.
* Left-clicking on the chat window now causes it to fade immediately.
* When dragging a chat tab off of the chat window players will now get a "phantom chat tab" until they release the mouse button, instead of creating and dragging the new tab immediately.
* When docking one chat window to another, an arrow indicator is now displayed on the chat tab listing which indicates where in the order of chat tabs the tab will now be placed.
* When creating a new tab, the properties of the new tab are cloned from the original tab chosen. For example, using New Tab on the Combat tab menu creates a Combat(1) tab with all the same filters and font settings of the original Combat tab.
* Players will no longer be able to use the /petname command unless they have a White Lion out
* New Cycle Enemy Target action added as a handier version of Target Next Enemy. This action is bound to Tab by default; existing characters will not have their keybindings changed, so if you would like to use this action instead of Target Next Enemy with your current character, you will need to change this keybind.
* Fixed an issue that was causing the health bar fade option to work incorrectly.
* We have re-skinned the Guild Registrar interaction window.

* Many parts of the UI have been modified to fit localized text properly:
o Quest Titles in the Quest Dialog window

Now if only they would fix the bug where ranged attacking mobs look like like they are melee'ing you and you have no idea where they are standing...

beev that isn't so serious, you can move just a bit and the mob will rearrange itself correctly. Just hit 19/13 with my WP

And drebo: nice frame rates. I use the free FRAPS so all i get is F11, but 30-40 outside is what i'm seeing, and that's with drops into the low teens when there are more than 15-20 mobs moving around. Looks like crap in many cases too
I don't understand!

I'm sure you know this, but if it would be risky for you to go into battle for a second and you still want to heal you can convert your AP to Righteous Fury by using one of the first skills given to you.

It helps sometimes, though fighting for Righteous Fury is usually a little bit faster with the added bonus of you doing damage.

I'm wondering whats the best path to go for build wise as WP,I like to do some healing and slightly melee fighting,good RvR/ PvP build bascially,was thinking Grace path something like this from another guy that posted it

I'm going Grace just for more utility, eg Sigmar's fist giving toughness AND debuffing strength + toughness is really nice. And I do scenarios quite a bit, my gear is chosen for strength/willpower mostly, figuring I can heal enough to make up for the lack of toughness/initiative. My res is also nice, all over 200 so casters are easier.

I'm glad they fixed that Target Out Of Range bug. That thing irritated me to no end. Havent had a chance to play yet today to test it myself.

wl is borked pounce has all new exploits with their current fix and is useless for the pbaoe it was good for before.
hopefully it will get fixed again and the new exploits patched. funny thing is the pounce exploits were among the ones i reported ages ago, and only got fixed after it was widely exploited, and I imagine other exploits will be treated the same.
so here I am saying, there are new pounce exploits, expect a patch for it in 2 weeks when other WLs figure it out.

r31/rr27 WL - leveling like a snail cause i hate pve

Well, I know one ability that's probably going to be nerfed.

The Black Orc has a self-buff that gives a 25% chance to increase Wounds by X number and heal the amount of HP that's given. Well, the thing procs every 4th or 5th hit, and at level 17, that's 510 HP healed every 4th or 5h hit.

I just killed a level 19 champ mob, starting the fight with two other mobs already on me. I ended the fight with 100% HP. He dropped a nice pair of boots.

Should be a lot of nerfs,balance is a joke,btw Troll Crossing Tier 2 Scenerio had 3 of the Destruction guys running on mounts,poor Order side had highest member at 19 level (no mounts) mounts should be banned,118 to 500 score we lost by,anybody on Order side don't bother playing Troll crossing its so unbalanced its a joke, latest stats are Order 5- 40 Destruction (over 3 week period just on Troll Crossing).

Roots should be tamed or sorted too,too many people just spamming them especially on Destruction side.

Black Orcs are tough to take down buffed up,we had Swordmaster on one plus WH,WP and it took ages.
I do feel feel the developers spent more time on Destruction side of things.



Phoenix Gate was a bit better but we still lost,however the team expected me to heal(being the only healer in the whole group,balance issue again) as WP it was tough donig that since I had melee and ranged guys going for me from destruction(fair enough you should always go for healers as main target) but my team never bothered to protect me so I got frustrated in the end.

In Temple, where there aren't as many healers (yet), I usually get around 30 kills with around 13,000 damage.

The balance is there. You might not be playing when a majority of your realm mates are playing. Isn't it like the middle of the night in Europe right now?

Your dmg doesn't scale anywhere near as fast as your hp though, it likely won't be all that OP when you start getting closer to end game content. Sure, for soloing mobs it's going to be a godsend, but as it is right now Black Orcs are Destructions best 'pure' tanks for anything PvE related and in PvP the amount of dmg you are taking is too high to be offset by those, relatively speaking, meager heals(unless you are 1v1 which most classes don't stand a chance against a tank on the tier2 level outside of healers). Do you have a skill like guard btw? I can pop that on to anyone and reduce all the dmg they take by 30%(take it myself instead) really makes a tank/healer combo brutal to take down(I'm Chosen).

Balance is crazy on my server one sided for sure.
I play evenings and weekends mainly,the temple one is not much better on tier 2 on our server we lost 150-500 (had no melee guys unless you count me as WP but when rooted not much I could do but die ,lasted 5 mins we had total of hmm 9 kills) with all the enemy range spamming it was laggy and hard to fight,there are balance class issues period,I'm not sure now if this game is gonig to be a long term committment by me ,just seems frustrating most times,still I got to the end of my CE free time to decide.

I think some of Order the guys are going over to Destruction due to frustration from reading the Scenerio chat,I'll stay on Order side and if it does not get any better then I'll try a different game.

To follow up on my dilemma of not wanting to buy 2 copies of the game ($100) so that my gf can at least try playing it w/ me...

@ igames.org, they have 7-day free trials, but you have to go to one of their game centers and pick up the little ticket/voucher/game key. They have one here in Vegas, so we stopped by and they gave us two, 7-day trials.

Just thought it might be a good route for some of you who haven't picked it up yet and are wavering on the idea of trying it.

On my server, the sides seem balanced. One match with be 500 to 100 another will be 50 - 500. Recently there are alot more 500 - 480 or 480 - 500 matches.

The majority of the time in temple, the team that gets the artifact wins. Typically its whichever side has someone that has a mount. Although Ive been on teams that were 300 to 100, that came back and won.
