Well you know where my view of Canada's role stands in all of this. I wish I could appologize for that old fool we have leading the country, but I can't because I didn't vote for him, so my hands are clean in this.

Oh yeah? Ever been to Georgia before? Some friends of mine got held up by gunpoint on their way to Moscow by some friendly Georgians. Nice, peaceful God-fearing people. Salt of the earth! Ha.

I've been to both and I would take Paris anyday over some of those former East European block countries.

because nobody has ever been mugged in france before right? lol, great logic except I have a hard time believing that doesnt happen worldwide.

Right. Its much better to be raped and burned to death in France by the muslim youth than to have your cash taken in Georgia.

Where's the link?

If that's the case can't I say - its better to stay here in the UK rather than be shot to death in the US - because someone was shot once?

US is our(Canada) largest trade partner and we do share our boarder with them. They are also perhaps our closest ally for the past 50 years. Think of all the money we saved on defense budget.

The problem here is that UN is basically a Canadian creation, and it would "seem" wrong to ignore it completely.

Anyways, we should probably support the US in the same capacity as Spain. It would be a better comprmise. Plus, We did try to send our ships to the Gulf and boy we all know how that turned out.
