i can see why it's taking them so long, after StarCraft, it's pretty hard to top that!!! i havn't seem anything came close to be as good as starcraft in terms of RTS games.

Blizzard is the king of RTS games. I'm glad they take their time, since when they do finally have the release it's damn near perfect. And to top it off, they tweak it after it's been released to balance the races. Now I just need to figure a way to quit my job and go back to college for a year...

Try Empire Earth. I used to think that Starcraft was king, but Empire Earth is quickly moving into that spot. It's got TONS of units and strategy ranging from the prehistoric period to 200 years in the future. Really cool.

The only thing I don't like about Empire Earth(EE) is that each game takes so long compared to Star Craft(SC).

The computer cheats sooo bad in Empire Earth. They have like 7 cave dudes before I even have one. It doesn't help that I'm a newbie either.

i've seen the date change from dec. something to 1/1/2002 and now 6/25/2002 so don't count on ebworld.com date.
i personally think WC3 will come out during the Christmas season...

Diablo II was a disappointment?

Sheesh. Most people thought it was the best game they had ever played. Not to mention it outselling any other game in history...

I don't know, but to me Diablo II was no disappointment. I mean, it had a few things I didn't like. I thought it was kind of easy... But overall I think it was an amazing game, and I am never disappointed with the quality of product that Blizzard puts out.

AU Tiger, you have to adjust your FSB speed in your system BIOS. Your Athlon XP showed up as that because your BIOS is set to 100MHz Front Side Bus (11.5 multiplier x 100MHz FSB). It needs to be set to 133MHz FSB (133x11.5 = 1.53GHz - The Athlon XP 1800+ speed).

I can't wait for War3. I really don't like Empire Earth because it is such a slow game but am playing a bit of Battle Realms to get me back into RTS mode after a couple years of mainly just Counter-Strike.
