Seems one of the scenes cut has details about garonas earlier life.http://www.wired.com/2016/06/warcraft-and-the-future-of-blockbusters/
I watched some YouTube video where a guy discussed the media released around the movie (1 graphic novel, 2 books). He mentioned that the movie's novelization contained a lot more of the character's thoughts, but more importantly, contained scenes which were most likely deleted from the theatrical cut. Apparently, the novel was quite explicit in that.Garona is Medivh's child, and that's why Gul'dan brought her with him

Also, based upon some of the other material, it seems that there's nothing about The Burning Legion anywhere. Essentially, in this universe, fel magic is simply the big, bad evil.
this is amazing - only 10% of it's WW gross is domestic.
Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic: $31,191,525 10.0%
+ Foreign: $280,500,000 90.0%
= Worldwide: $311,691,525

Thinking back on it in hindsight, Doomhammer was a real idiot not killing Gul'dan, instead leaving him to his devices in the second war. What's the worst that could possibly happen? :hmm:
I finally watched it. I'm a huge Warcraft lore fan, I absolutely loved playing Warcraft 2 & 3, but not WoW nor Warcraft 1.
1. In Warcraft 3 game, Thrall & Grom are buddy commanders, and both depicted as similar age of able bodied adults- in both in-game & cinematics. This movie already shows Grom as we know him as an adult. This doesn't make sense as Thrall (Go-el) is just a baby.
2. I don't like this whole retconn of fel-corrupted Orcs being green. Green WAS the natural color of orcs. It's clear that fel-corruption turned them RED. What is the point of this?
