I've seen bike posts on AT over the years and most of them were considered "hot" because they were so cheap (in price; no comment on quality, etc), not because it was a true hot deal. Well, here's the other end of the spectrum. If you're into the sport then you'll know this is a hot deal! The parts cost more than the entire bike. You could buy the bike, strip and sell its parts on eGay, and still have a decent frame left over (edit: maybe! you'll make your profit on the shipping hehe

Did you read MBA's review of this bike (it might have been the Hollowpoint Team, I can't remember, but they have the same frame, the parts spec is slightly different).

I'm pretty sure they reviewed the IronHorse Hollowpoint Team, but the frame is pretty much the same but with a few upgraded parts. The components are pretty good though. I would recommend everyone to actually try out the bike at a local bike shop (LBS) before jumping on deals online unless you know exactly what frame geometry you want. I tried out a bunch of bikes that I reviewers loved (Cannondal F400, Trek 8000, etc) but I ended up buying the bike that I thought "fit" me the best, which was a Specialized Stumpjumper. Also be sure to do you research for bikes at www.mtbr.com before making any buying decisions.
