COMPUSA has a 250GB Seagate EIDE Hard drive for $119.99 - $60 rebate = $59.99.

Not to bad if you don't mind rebates. I think it's warm at best.

I don't see it online, so maybe it's just in store. I got it from today's weekly ad.

Warning: CompUSA refused to give me a rebate that I had sent ontime, completely, and gave a 2nd copy of when I got alarmed where it was. Their reason on the phone "sorry we simply dont have to do this".

you can file a lawsuit... but for a $60 rebate, it's not worth it.
Good deal if you have ide slots available, all mine are filled with optical devices.

That's terrible. I bought a Maxtor 250GB 8MB Cache last year (9/04/05) from CompUSA for $79.99, no rebates. Surely CompUSA can do better than that.

I'm not sure about when you sent the rebate, but I know that for rebates under $100 they will cover it in the store if you have a denial letter and show it was a valid submission.
