I would really love the additional zoom capability of the S1 IS but I'm not sure I'm willing to cough up an extra $60 to get it when the A95 is such a great little camera. I hate choices like this

My total came to $258.35 - very pleased to say the least.

They can be found on eBay for a few bucks. I got lucky and someone from FW gave me theirs.

Relative statement, A95 is 5 megapixle, A510 3.2 megapixle. Unless your going to print posters, the extra megapixels don't do much other than fill up the SD card faster. Don't get me wrong A95 is very nice, but he A510 has some advantages including about $90 cheaper.

A510= 2 batteries, A95= 4 batteries (and is still more efficient than the A95)

A510 smaller and lighter

A510 4 x zoom, A95 3 x zoom (optical)

Both have the same movie mode specs.
