But it figures, I live in NJ and they shipped it from CA. Overall, nothing to complain about.

I ordered this ram... them i cancelled it and ordered pair of G.SKill, i heard corsair does not oc much and i need to push my fsb....and i did not have the faith in mailinrebate, i have heard stories abt corsair not screwing rebates...

Just today I received the Corsair $40 rebate for the $100AR 2GB ValueRAM kit from Fry's day after Christmas. No problems, unlike the stinkin' PNY rebate which they keep denying for absolutely bogus reasons.

yea atleast one person got my RAM...the thing changed my mind was u r spending so much money why not some extra $ and get something which could be more powerful and in my case i wanted to oc and run syn with fsb
and in case prices go down for that particular ram.... that will f****d Up

A day after my e-mail to Newegg in ref to the voided order and what did I need to do in order to re-order at the $159 price (excluding rebate) nothing happened or is happening or I got ignored...
Well, after a phone call to the service desk, they said to reorder and they would adjust the price by $38. OK by me.

I think this was addressed earlier in the thread. If I'm right it's a 32-bit issue where the os can only address 4GB of memory total (which means <4GB for system ram usually). You can usually put in 4GB tho, I think, (if your mobo supports it) and the OS will just address what it can. Go to 64-bit and the memory limit is much higher.
