Crucial PC2100 can be overclocked to PC2700 (166 fsb). I have a KT333 board, 1600+ o/c to 2100+, and Micron PC2100 sticks, all running stable.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get this one. Its a completely new rebate, a prior purchase from a few months ago should not effect this one. The only problem you would have would be if you bought two sticks this time and used the same addess on both rebate forms.

Not available for store pickup doesn't mean it's not in stock. It just means you can't use the website to reserve it. I called my local Best Buy in Rockville, MD, and they had 3 in stock. Dropped by and picked one up. While I was there got a 50-pack of ATT CD-R, SKU 470263 for $9.99. Comes with two separate rebates for $2.00 each to Best Buy, and a third rebate for $7.00 to ATT, for a total of $11.00 in rebates on a $9.99 + $0.50 tax + $1.44 postage = 50 CD-R's for $0.50.

The Crucial DDR RAM goes on sale with a rebate at BB every few months. I have been getting it everytime it goes on sale for the past year and have not had any problems receiving the rebate. The rebate form is sent to Calais, ME which means BB is paying the rebate and you should receive it in 3-4 weeks. I plan to pick up a stick tommorrow.

I got in on this today as well, and I also used the ten percent coupon found in today's paper. (back page of the LA times sports page for those of you in Los Angeles) I saved an additional six bucks before rebate. The catch is you have to use a best buy credit card. Wasn't a big deal for me since I already have one. So, the total for me was 53.99 + tax - mail in rebate.

BMdoobieW: I read the coupon, didn't see anything about not being able to use it for ram. In any case, the cashier didn't say anything, and just took the 10% off with no problem. 53.99 - 25.00 for Crucial ram is an awesome deal in my book...especially with ram prices as high as they are these days. (off topic, Unreal Tournament 2003 runs like a dream with the extra memory!! 512 megs total)
