I have an E3110 in my EVGA 680i motherboard. Just needed a simple bios update. These are rebadged E8400s.

Yup, they didn't last long, thread title notes they are now OOS. Hope some folks from here got a few. At least the Egg is carrying them now, which I would guess that they will come back up soon as available in the next days.

I run an E3110 in my Mobo in my signature, basically the same as an E8400 from what I can tell.

As soon as the current C2D and C2Q stock is exhausted and turns EOL these should be available alot cheaper and great quantities. Hell they could end up at vending machines....

Make sure when you go Xeon shopping to look for socket 775 versions and not 771.
That is IF you want to run them on a 775 MB...
