Monarch's performance is getting such mixed reviews...you're making me nervous!

I've had a couple of dealings with the folks at Monarch - both of them positive. They are highly rated by AMD. They will attach your CPU to your MOBO and test it before it goes out the door. They may not be the cheapest, but their prices are very competitive and I like their service. My $.02

How is Monarch at speed? I'm getting a little nervous - I placed an order on Monday and it only got processed today...I understand if it takes them a while to test the product, that's a good reason for it to be a little slow. But when I asked the woman I was dealing with why it was going to take 2 weeks for me to get a product when I paid $17 for FedEx shipping on it, she hung up on me. Fortunately I have her name and extension, so I can do something about it, but now I'm worried that she's going to go sabotage my order or something!

stso: Fry's is getting picky about taking items back without a receipt. it varies from store to store. I happened to have a box with a fry's price tag on it, so that probably made the difference.

Who wouldn't want a 1 Gig over a 750Mhz? I'd take that and a 30 dollar Promise Raid card any day... Screw IDE Raid anyway. Just get a Adaptec Ultra Wide 2940U .

But last time I posted something like this all I got was Flames.. This is Luke warm at best.

Besides I haven't had any complaints with microbarn or newegg.
