Warm deals on inkjet cartridges??

Got this in an email. I've never dealt with the place, and don't need their services, but thought someone might. Prices seem pretty decent, you be the judge.....

Fixed the link. I just copied and pasted from the link I recieved in the e-mail. I honestly had no idea that was some type of misleading link. I've never even bought from these people, just posted because I thought it would be beneficial.

BTW, to those who were concerned: I might be a senior member, but I rarely post deals. I'm not familiar with "affiliate" type deals, other than they're not allowed here. If I do happen across something, I just copy and paste. I never thought it would be a referal link through an email, simply because I do not involve myself in those types of things. Guess I learned something new today.

I apologize for the inconvienence or confusion.

Try Megatoners. Got my first order from them this week. I'd do it again. Cartridges for Epson 880 for ~$2/black and ~$3 color. New cartridges; made in China. Vacuum sealed. Free shipping with 15 cartridges. Extra benefit was that they sent it USPS and used actual stamps. Silly USPS did not cancel the stamps, which had a face value of ~$4. Of course, I would never use these stamps again, now would I?

Another vote for megatoners. GREAT prices (picked up like 4 carts for under $15 shipped, and the black carts lasted me forever in my epson 480)

Edit:

Did that email come in as spam? If so, delete the link right away, dont' want to support spam now, do we

Thanks, I took a quick look at the "megatoners" site but still looking for somewhere to get a color cartridge for a 952C HP printer. Anyone have any ideas? Sorry to put this in here but thought it was getting a little OT anyway. The cartridge is an HP 78 (using their newer terminology). Thanks for any ideas.

I got a Epson stylus color 980. The manual says those 'compatible' ones will damage the printer. Can anybody tell me the difference between the cartridges made by original manufacture and the compatible ones? How about the quality of printed work. Thank you.

Hmm... why would a manufacture of inkjet cartridges who also (sorta conflict of interest, eh?) makes the printer, and sells the carts for way outrageous markup, tell you that the compatible ones, that are 40-80% cheaper, would damage their printer... hmm I wonder!!!

Of course they're going ot say that. Look at my epson 480. Throught Staples.com, a replacement black cartridge is $16.95. Through megatoners.com, the black cartridge is $1.95. The carts from megatoners look exactly like the carts from epson (or at least the one they shipped with the printer), and lasted MUCH longer. Print quality is good all around. I'm very impressed with them.

ATP...wow...only 7 posts since May 2k1...that is crap printed in the manual quite a few compatible(generic..) carts work fine and output is indistinguishable from the official carts as always YMMV you have to give it a try Megatoners.com does ship fairly quick with a good price: ) ...Buz2b...you are looking for 6578 cart..there is also a 6578AN that holds more ink so far I have been getting my HP carts from Staples,OD,and OM on the two fer deals (end up with HP branded carts for $2 more than generics by catching deals and using PM/w/coupons) mostly printing in black anyway prolly try Megatoners generic black or might do the refill mail-in exchange from another site. <edit> hi Mr.Jackson thanks for the great DVD(s) deal !!

I bought 3color + 3black for Epson 760 on acsmsupplies.com w/free shipping for ~$49, their service was good, and the cartridges were good as well.
But after reading +ve feedback and taking a look on this megatoners.com I guess this would be a better store.

Wow, some maths.... 1.35*3 + 2.87*3 = 12.64 include 3.95 shipping, total = $16.59!!!
Darn, I paid thrice the price and thought it was cheap!! (but that was around a year ago)

Wow, this post is about 2 days old and the mods did not even bother to delete the affiliate link.

I wanna make some money here, too!!! Should we all start posting affiliate links now?

I had my doubts when I used megatoners, but I figure, $6 for a pair of ink cartridges, what do I have to lose? They're a small business, and their order reponse isn't automated, but I can't complain. They ship pretty fast USPS, and their cartridges are damn good for the money. I'm on my second order. The cartridges last longer than the Epson ones. Color's pretty close, if not exact. Thumbs up for Megatoners.

Megatoners are better for Epson than original Epson, my experience. All of the original Epson cartridge was spent trying to clean the nozzle which kept drying up, every other day. Megatoners ones stay clean a lot longer - up to a week.

In other words, what alyosha is saying is Epson's so called "Geniune" quality ink cartidriges are both expensive, and at the sametime, a piece of sh*t. I have to agree with him from first hand experience. I use a Stylus 660 and I find more often then not that my printer constantly has to keep cleaning itself close to everytime I turn it on. A lot of the ink gets wasted there. :|

I'll give Megatoners a try and see how it is since so many of you guys recommend it.

Megatoners.com is a great company. However, I ordered a few replacement cartridges for my Canon BJC-6000 right before it mysteriously broke..... I think the generic ink carts do cause some damage....

I suspect that the Epson "quick dry" inks are the problem. Generic inks must not be quick dry and don't plug up as bad as a result.
