Just picked up Corsair PC3200 TwinX 512 MB CL2 set With Platinum heat spreaders at Fry's for $129.95 Run fine at 2 2 2. Cheapest I have seen.

Frys LA has Patriot brand PC3200 512MB (which - so far as I can tell from outpost.com is CL2) for $89 after a $50 rebate.

Yup, you get two memory modules that are designed for dual channel mode in amd and/or intel boards

I think that's on sale because Fry's (the B&M version of outpost.com sells it for 179.99) Yikes! thats expensive. ANyway, anyone else know of where to get this RAM for the same price or cheaper? My first choice would be NewEgg but $144 isn't as good as $120 + $4 shipping....plus Corsair is close by to my house if i need to RMA....ANyone have good experiences with Outpost.com??

the pc3700 's tend to have higher latency timings. what cpu r u using? r u o/c'n?

personally if i were u i would get the PC3200ll because it has low latency and u still have room to o/c because ur barton is running at 333mhz (166 x 2) and the pc3200 is ddr400 (200 x 2) so u have some headroom there. the pc3700 will give u more headroom, but w/ higher latency. u won't really be able to tell the difference unless u benchmark it.

This was at the Fry's in Houston. It was advertized in the weekend sale ad. It is a packaged set of matched LL CL2 Ram with the Plat heat spreaders. I got a 420 increase in 3D mark scores with out any other changes when upgrading from 2 256 sticks of Samsung DDR400 cl3 ram !!!!
