I'm guessing it's the same board as in the 8400, so this should have one x16 lane... I don't think it has onboard video?

Edit: found out, it does have onboard video... still nothing on a x16 lane

edit2: according to this spec sheet on page two it says it only has only a 8x lane... still faster then agp 8x

Do they even make x8 pci-e graphic cards? from what i've though I have seen is that you can't put a x16 pci-e card into a x8 slot.

no, no AGP slot.

There is discussion here, aaltonen.us, it seems that people are still trying to figure out if the 420SC board is the same as the Dimension 8400, like the 400SC and 8300 were.

A few are grinding out the x8 slot on the 420SC and putting in x16 cards anyway, with varying degrees of success at the moment.
