Warm: Lollapalooza tickets $5-9 apiece

It looks like Lollapalooza tickets must not be selling well - I just picked up
two $9 general admission tickets for the Aug. 5th concert in south FL. Regular
price on these was ~$20.

I found them on eBay (just search for "lollapalooza") - it appears to be ClearChannel
reselling the tickets. I saw tickets for the Albequerque (sp?), NM concert for $20 and
one in NY for $15 (for 2 tickets). Not too bad of a price.

And, since he said it's a buy-it-now at Ebay, it clearly skirts the auction prohibition on AT. (no links to auction sites)
In case you don't go to Ebay very often, it's not just an auction site... but also a... consignment store (for lack of a better term)

Local tickets are about $100 each for me on the flea. Not a hot deal.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express only (sorry no PO Box addresses).

After payment, we will e-mail you a Confirmation of your purchase. Present your Confirmation at the box office will-call window on the day of show ONLY to pick-up your two tickets. Tickets are non-transferable and can only be retrieved by the purchaser with original credit card of purchase and a valid photo ID.

Um... Sounds like standard procedure, not really fine print... Do you really want somebody without your ID and confirmation to be able to pick up your tickets? And who doesn't have either a Visa, mastercard, discover or american express? Doesn't that pretty much cover everything?

Yes that is standard procedure pretty much. I used electronic print out tickets for teh chili peppers show at MSG and there was no problem what so ever. Man this is so great, im going to the Jone's beach concert with 3 of my friends for only $30! Hell I just might treat em . Thanks again for this great deal

This is smoking hot for music fans. Almost every CC event is on ebay for like $5 - 10 a ticket. Search for "w/ gA" in the tickets field and there are tons of hits.

Um ....will call is not standard procedure for me and it's not the same as "electronic print out tickets" that someone else mentioned. What it means is whoever buys the tickets, or whoever's credit card buys the tickets, must go to the will call window day of show (usually only 1 hour before) and pick them up. That means you can't give them as gifts, can't buy them for your sons/daughters/sisters/brothers/etc unless you go to the show with them, can't buy them with someone else and agree to meet in the show, etc.

I thought I'd let everyone know that there was only 1 way to get the tickets and that was at the will call window day of show. If you can meet that requirement it's a good deal, I can't. I was going to buy them as a gift.
