I was checking out some specs on my monitor's refresn rate when I came across this deal at the Sylvania factory outlet store..

Sylvania F89 19" Factory brown box new

Supposedly this is a new monitor.. they have 20 left as of this posting.. standard 1 year warranty on parts, labor, and CRT.. they are in Santa Ana, CA, so shipping to NY (Long Island) UPS residential ground was $42 so YMMV...

They also have a F91 brown box for $229, and a factory reconditioned F89 for $180.

Good luck.. maybe for those who didn't get in on the Staples or PCMall monitor deals..

This isn't a bad monitor.. it's a little dim at times, however, and the best I would run it at was 1152x864.. 1280x1024 was too small (prolly for my eyes, which are bad..)

I bought one of those things new at Costco last year for $299.. What a piece of $hit. The image quality is terrible. Dont even waste your $$ on it.. Save up for a Samsung or something else.

I've had to stare at one of these for 8+ hours everyday for over a year now. They are definitely not the best quality. I need to swipe one of the Viewsonics that are lying about. Someone must hate me for putting this on my desk. Let's just put it this way, after staring at this all day, I am happy to go home to my 5 year old 15" Trinitron.

Yeah, I have to admit they aren't the best quality either.. but how good can the other ones be at this price..

I like mine, but like I said sometime the colors are a bit dull..

funny .... I have this same model at home and have had no problems at all. I've had it for 16 months now, and it has worked great. I actually like it better than my 19" viewsonic (graphics series, g790) at work. It's worked well for me.

I've been using my F72 for a few years now and havnt had a problem with it yet.
