If you have the $ go with the Gigabyte GA-7VAXP, VIA KT400 chipset 8X AGP ATX motherboard

I have done many motherboard shootouts with all the brand name companies and this one is a good one!

You should checkout my LAPTOP MOD I did awhile ago!

Yep, great boards!
Too bad gone again.
Even normal price of $74.99 is a good deal for all that you get.

While the nVidia graphics only compares to GF4 MX400, the built-in Dolby Digital 5.1 audio is pretty good.
After trying all the other all-in-one boards for cheap system sales, these blow away all others.
This board has everything you could need in a cheap system.
There is an easy mod that allows overclocking in Bios.
One of the few boards I could get to run Prime95 error free for 48 hours overclocked to 155MHz fsb and PC2100 ram.

Isn't worth it? $39? They're very stable boards, and for putting together a cheap system I think they're excellent as they have better-then-average onboard video and audio. I really don't think there's a board with more features or that's more reliable for the money.

Just grabbed 4. Thinking about grabbing more at this great price. I've already built 3 systems using this mobo with absolutely no problem. The price/reliability/feature can't be touch.

I can't see why anyone would complain about this mobo. I do recall reading some info where the original manual had the wrong jumper settings for the fsb but that has been corrected.

People: This is a micro-ATX motherboard. Dont compare it to anything else. It is also the only one made by a solid company that has NForce220 chipset and GForce video built-in. This is much better than VIA solutions for m-ATX. If I had the cash, I would have gotten one by now. Sigh.

I got one a couple of weeks ago and it came in a white box and NOTHING else. I'm a little bummed about the backplate not coming with it.

Because many small shops know about these now, and buy up as many as they can.
But how they come up with more the same day, I have no clue.
