edit: Order cancelled - Im miffed. Did anyone get confirmation of shipment? They charged me, then status said "sent to warehouse" for 3 days. I contacted them, and they replied:

Dear Mr. Davison,

We are really sorry for the delay. We just check with warehouse and this item is on back order now. Therefore, we will cancel this order and credit the money back to you today. The credit might show on your account in 2-3 business days. If you have further question, please feel free to contact us.

Well I sent back a seething, but carefully worded reply, stating my dissatisfaction. They didn't blink an eye, so here I am, suggesting that people reconsider purchasing from GameVE.com

I've had good results with them before, but this issue was not handled well. I doubt they would have looked into this issue had I not contacted them, and they chose to cancel my order without contacting me. Perhaps I would have like to have been kept on backorder, considering the price. Oh well, got one for 66$ somewhere else.

I've only ordered once from them around four years ago or so. I ordered during the holiday season (XP1700). It took about a week for them to ship out due to backorder but once I called them and asked them about my order (Yes I was able to speak to a live person) they notified me that it will be shipped out in an a couple of days. And it was. They even shipped it out next day air for the trouble.

As far as customer service, I've heard gameve is pretty horrible. Great price though.

FYI ppl, the NF7 plain ver is $40 and the AN7 is only $45 and still in stock. Makes me wonder why the prices are so low... the AN7 street price is in the 90s. Maybe i'm just a skeptic.

Aw, you gus are being too hard on "Gerald." As I read it, he turned the computer off after doing a "save and exit" from the bios and it killed his board. I don't think that he was flashing the bios.

Sucks for you Bio but then again with most smaller online places backorders are often cancelled because more people throw a fit over waiting for the backorder then getting their funds back.

In my case after seeing the NF7-S on backorder, I ordered the AN7 which was in stock at the time, and later cancelled the NF7-S order. Board came yesterday, works amazing and was $51 shipped so they honored their in stock merchandise and price in my case. Feeling lucky now, am I the only one who received their MB!?

I'm just hoping they credit my account, and ship me a board too. Considering the brains behind this issue, I'd nearly bet they would. How can a guy, who orders it after its on backorder, get one, and yet ppl who order it while in stock, get nothing but debits to their bank account? Is there another forum where I'm supposed to vent?-bios

I didn't get mine. They cancelled mine. I called, and the cust service guy was pretty rude about my questioning why they cancelled when it says in stock on the site.
