you can get it at office depot, target, officemax, best buy, probably anywhere they sell oly cams. this cam uses alkalines as well... or lithium aa also. the crv3 is expensive anywhere afaik (if not, someone please post deal)

up to one's discretion. lithium last longer, but when kaput, kaput. rechargeables take time to charge (1 hour to 15, depending on charger used), and they are NOT charged when just taken out of the package, like alkalines and lithium. it's good to have at LEAST one set (two pairs) of alkalines or lithium on a trip though.

One more question: How long does the CRV3 batteries lasts?
In any case I think I like having rechargeable batteries more... lower cost in the long run. Unless the CRV3's are REALLY good (last a good length of time).

I don't know if anyone is interested, but there is a $100 rebate if you buy the p-400 also.

$100 rebate for camera and printer combo

The p-400 must be pretty high end. It's around $700, but if you did want the printer you could get the rebate, which pays for the camera, then sell the camera on eBay for maybe $120-$140 thereby off-setting some of the cost of the printer.

It might be a session thing.

Go to price grabber and search for D-370. Then select "digital cameras" on the drop-down box to the right to narrow the number of entries returned. Search for "olympus" (something like that) - by search I mean in the browser page with Ctrl-F.

my company has one. last wednesday we used it at a party in a dim room and i notice that at close ran the pictures are great but at long rans it craps out. but over all the camera is great for outdoors in the light. but dont plant to get great pictures at night in the bed room

I am trying to get 4% ebates and $25 off by entering the code in the Cart page. But When i go through ebate the Box disapear by enabling cookies, But if I disable cookie to to get to the cart without goin through ebates then Box came up. because I guess no one can get through ebates without enabling cookies. Can anyone find how to get both discounts. It will save additional $4 (4 % OM from ebates) for this deal since the total for camera is $100 with tax

How to use click through coupons and eBates.com successfully:

1) Click the OfficeMax $25 off $100 coupon
2) Add the Olympus D-370 digicam and whatever else to your cart
3) Open a new web browser window leaving the first one in tact (do not close) and go to www.ebates.com click Business & Office (on the left) then click OfficeMax 4%.
4) You should now see the eBates ad banner on the top portion of your screen with OfficeMax below the ad banner. Click your cart, your digicam and $25 off $100 coupon should be there, click checkout and proceed like normal.

Let me know if this works for you guys.

put the camera in my cart. hm..no coupon in cart?
went to fatcash and clicked thru the link. it opens a new officemax window w/fatcash banner on top.
but my cart is empty on that page

and coupon code doesnt show up on other officemax page when i check out..arrg

No its still does 'nt work, because OM sucks, If you open any new browser the old browser add everything in the new browser cart now mater if you open through ebates or without it.

For those who are having problems. Here is what I did. Just start your browser and go directly to officemax.com. Then do a search for olympus. Click on the "more like this" link. Half way down, you should see the D-370L. Put a 1 in the quantity and click add to cart. It should bring you to your card and have a place to put the promo code in. This is the only way I got it to work. Hope it helps.
