This isn't a bad deal, but here is my complain and keep in mind it has nothing to do with you. This is my complaint over DDR2 MFG's. It is so damn deceptive of companies to specify their ram speed ratings at something greater than 1.8v. The official spec, as I understand it, is 1.8v for DDR2. That means, I want to KNOW what these modules will do at default voltage. You see, a lot of "generic" memory is actually better than this stuff, because although the timings are not as good, they are done at default voltage. Likely, if you are to increase the voltage of generic ram (from 1.8v to 2.0v that these modules in your link have) they would probably hit the same timings! Or better! I just find it absurd that DDR2 is marketed this way. Some MFG's even advertise their ratings at 2.2v! Come on! That is like 20% more voltage than default.
Ok, sorry for my rant... By the way, these ARE Good prices for ram. Just be sure that if you want to run default voltage on these, you most likely will not get those timings.
Edit ** Wanted to mention that this is a good price for 2 x 2gb modules. Even though you pay a little bit more to go with the 2gb modules, you will allow yourself the ability to move up to 8gb in the future for most motherboards... In my opinion, anyone seeking ram from this point forward possibly might want to into 2 x 2gb modules...
