ok, don't flame me as i am still learning the process... with that said, here you go...

staples has these for $459.98 - $100 mir - $40 coupon = $319.98

BUT

if you pm this to ems computing who has 35 of them for $347.49 - 110% guarantee = $312.74 - $100 mir - $40 off $200 coupon OR use the $40 ir (don't think you can use the $40 ir and the $40 coupon) = $172.74

however, i have been lucky as my staples has a cool manager, who has let me stack (use more than one - for anyone newer than me at this ) coupons before. so getting the monitor at $132.74 is not out of the question. don't expect this price tho - so anything less than $172.74 is gravy... and we all like gravy!!

- here's the $100 mail in rebate

- the $40 staples coupon is listed on the staples page with the monitor

- the $40 off $200 can be found at FW of DC.

**UPDATE**
there is no ir - my mistake! the instant $40 off from staples is a coupon and they give you the coupon code right there on on the same page the lcd is on, but it is not the same one as the $40 off $200 - the numbers are different!

on top of all this -- there is FREE GROUND SHIPPING which is posted loud and clear on the page!! so no haggling with csr's about the final price

of course YMMV.

i have not tried this but you should be good to go b/c ems has the monitors in stock and they are not refurbs... but you know how it can go sometimes!! i'm pretty sure you should be able to do this over the phone as i have tried pm a monitor at staples over the phone and they just looked up the site after i read them the url (didn't work then tho - but it did in-store). also, staples tries to limit the store they will pm to, but as long as its the same product in a retail box (no refurbs) you can get the pricematch most of the time - at least that's been my experience.

here are the only specs staples has on the Phillips 150s3f LCD...

With its compact design and advanced LCD technology, this 15" LCD Flat Panel Display takes
up less space on your desk and delivers a bright picture which is very easy on your eyes.
Offers Automatic Adjustment, which provides optimal screen position and performance by the
touch of a button. Supports traditional analog signals, too.

Product Specifications
Monitor Type LCD
Diagonal Screen Size 15
Max Resolution 1024 x 768
Dimensions 12.2"hx6.7"dx13.5"w, 8.2 lbs
Warranty Limited warranty - 3 years

...looking for more specs now.

when using their coupon and a coupon from off the boards you may have a better chance at getting it in-store. if you have a staples near you i would suggest trying to get the other $40 coupon approved by talking to a manager and explaining the first coupon (you can try to explain that it worked like an instant rebate online or something) should have nothing to do with the second. like i mentioned tho ymmv (your mileage may vary). i will pm you the dc coupon info.

you need to remove this link i believe wuman82. the rules state you can't link to these sites (coupon sites). if you don't they will lock this thread - so please remove it even tho your intentions were good.

ok this is what i put together so far.......if the stupid coupons will work:

312 after 110% - 40 given coupon - 50 stackable coupons - 100 MIR + free 5" B&W tv =

122 + free tv

damn coupons wont work, in store u say?.....i dunno, some of those managers are pretty anal

i got a cool manager at my staples but i know what youre saying. i would have done the deal but i have just been busy putting the box together. anyways, i think you are right about trying over the phone - the worst that could happen is they say no and you still have the option of in-store.

this monitor has had decent reviews and it looks nice i guess too many people got in on the dell deal to want a cheap 15in lcd. anyways, let us know how you fair with staples b/c i have seen where people have been able to stack coupons if the amount of the purchase after the first coupon is applied is at or above teh amount of the coupon (i.e. you apply one $40 coupon on a $200 item to get it to $160 then you can use a $30 off $150 to get down to $130)

but i am rather new at this so someone can correct me if i am wrong... this may be a ymmv type of deal also tho

thats what im saying, if i use the supplied 40 off, that gets me 272( still above 200) then i can use the 50/200.....or so one would think

i am going to call tomorrow, considering staples is closed at this moment. if that fails, local store, if that fails i have 2 other "kind of" local stores i can fall back on. if those fail, i tell staple to f themselves, then turn around on black friday coming in the store with printable coupons so they paying me when i get things free after MIR.

ill keep you posted.....

now youre talking... it blows me away that these people have a policy for price matching yet they do all they can to avoid honoring it. i'll be checking around myself as i think there is a store that has the phillips for $342 and change. not sure if it's the same model tho. good luck, i think you'll be happy with the LCD at $170 from what i read - but under $150 sounds like a legit hot deal.

I was able to do this last night. For whatever reason they wouldn't let me use the $40 coupon code from online, but they would however let me use the coupon for $30 off of $150 which you can find a printable one on FW.

All in all I got it for $180...I think that it is a pretty good deal.

Just as warning it all depends on the people working. I have gone into staples sometimes, and they won't let you use coupons after the price match, that would invalidate the deal. The other issue here is that if you call online they say that because the $40 is instant, that they pricematch the price after the $40 but before the $100, thus the pricematch isn't as great.

This deal is great but YMMV!!!

It might be best to go in late at night, I did it last night circe 7:45...staples closes at 8, so they didn't care what I did, they just wanted to get out of there.

Wouldn't work with online CSRs - the monitor ships next day @ Staples, so they'll tack on next day shipping at EMS computing.

1-800-3-staple was at the bottom of the page in tiny writing so try that. it would probably work better if you went in the store tho.
