This is a prime example of inventing a 'need' so you can sell a product. Who needs a "quesadilla maker"? Next thing you know they'll be selling "pasta boilers", a specially designed kitchen appliance that will heat water until it boils. You just put your pasta into it and viola! 8-10 minutes later you've got perfect pasta! Amazing! How did we ever live without it?

As sad as it is, they do have something called the "pasta pot" with built in lid to drain the water from the pasta. I was making fun of it and the one of my roomate's said it "was a great idea"
