Warm? Refurbished 20 gig ipods

I was looking at the special deals section of the Apple Store and i saw that they had replaced the refurb 10 gigs w/ 20 gigs. They are selling the v2 models i believe. They are $299, just giving you all a heads up.

I wonder how good the batteries are on these refurbs.

i was in the apple store here in portland yesterday, and they had one refurbed 20gb windows ipod for $369. the salesman said lots of people returned their relatively brand new ones as soon as the next generation came in. maybe that's the biggest source of refurbs? if so, i can't imagine they got much use/abuse.

I wouldn't worry about that. Apple puts new batteries and encloses everything in a new case so you wouldn't be able to tell the difference , they also carry the same warranty as brand new units for 1 year.
