this is a very nice crt. it's been sold off and on for ~$200 which is a reasonable deal. if the rebates/coupons work out for $100, this is a GREAT deal!

I bought this monitor about 18 months ago when the going price was about $280. I PM'ed at staples and after my discounts got it for $140. It's a nice monitor that I'm very happy with.

Checked online, but it comes up as discontinued. My local store in IL had 3 in stock, with 204 as price. After $30 and $20 rebate ($20 rebate expires 9/13/03) it ends up at $154. I had a mailer for $20 off $100 at OM, and the OD store honored it for another $10.

I've had this monitor for about a year and all I can say is its a piece of crap! The Contrast is so screwed up, this monitor will never know what the color black should really look like. After using my Sony monitor I can never use this one. You get what you pay for.

there are supposedly many versions of the Samsung 955DF monitor.

from what i have read, the best ones are the plain ivory colored monitors. The dual-colored are the 955DF-T/T monitors and they are crap from what i have heard.

i have had the 755df for several years now and its worked really good, bright colors too. great deal, but cant compare to the 35 dollar 19" crt at staples.



too bad i dont have any staples near here.
