The Shure E2c is on sale at Discovery channel store for $79.99.

1. B&M DCS has them for $79.99.
3. DCS Online

DCS Online: Text
Use the coupon TENOFF (published on website so ok here) to get it for $69.99 + $10.95 standard shipping.

This IMO is warm because those rarely go on sale.

Staples, www.djdeals.com has these for around $72. They say $99 on the description page but the discount is taken off after you add them to your cart.

e2c's

I actually ordered my e4c's from them alittle over a week ago. Got them yesterday and already love them. They take some time to get used to but the sound is amazing.

I wasn't sure about the site so I posted here. They don't have much at resellerratings.com but they have really good feedback at epinions.com and bizrate.com. I would recommend them and would do business with them again.

I read all over the boards that people complained about the lacking bass. It was a bit lacking but I have read it gets better over time. Do you notice any lacking lows in yours?

It look some getting used to not being able to hear any surrounding noises when listening to music and the head pressure thing was odd but just took getting used to.

The best part is I can listen to my iPod at about 15-20% volume at the gym instead of the normal 80-90% with my old earphones. Saves battery big time.

the e4's add more bass over the e3's and the e2's dont have bass at all .but even the e4's are still not enough for my tastes even with an amplifier. Personally i like the Westone UM2. I found a "headphone forum" (head-fi.org) where allot of people are recommending those over the shures because they have more bass and a little less "brightness" and that was my complaint too with the e4's, supposedly they are just as clear plus they have the dual drivers (supposedly the same drivers as the E5 (without the high impedance that requires more power) Westone even brags that they make the drivers for shure). the down sides of these are you really cant find them cheaper than $300.00 (retail on them) they actually have a bigger list of artist that use their stuff too. personally i think they are worth the extra cash but its allot more than just the e2's.

I got the E4C's for Xmas. Right out of the box I'm not happy. Too trebley and the bass is lacking. I've also read that they take time to break in, so I guess I need to let them do that.

Do you have them in right? I push mine in so far that i can't even see the 'shure' logo on the body of the phones.

Lack of bass is usually the result of not wearing them correctly (unless of course you're just one of those people who just want too much bass). Note that some people just have ear canals that just don't fit well with the Shure's sleeves, so that could possibly be one reason why they aren't working for you.

i got an e3, and i love it... don't use the regular rubber ear pieces, use the foam one, and if the foam is too big for your ears, try make replacement yourself. I got some dense foam earplugs from work, cut it in half, and burn a hole with a hot metal wire then fit it over. After wear it for about 2 weeks, you get use to it and don't even remember that they are in your ears. with the foam pieces you can push it deep in your ears. Better than noise cancellation headphones IMO!
