I'm not sure if this is good anywhere outside the Chicago area, but Dominick's is selling 50pk spindles for about $16.50 with tax. I'd almost say it's hot just because they're open 24hrs, but I should not for those who care that these are made in Taiwan, and come up as being manufactured by Ritek in Feurio.
A websearch turned up some people complaining about this (assuming that TDK's would be Taiyo-Yuden and getting Ritek), with responses from TDK claiming that there were quality assurance measures in place at Ritek's plant exclusive to TDK media. Another hit was a comparison of various CD-R's and error rates, and the 80-minute Ritek's were good to beyond the 82minute mark.
They were above the candy near checkout, and had to be pointed out to me by a "sales associate"
