I saw this on another bargains site. I don't know if it counts as a confrirmation or not because they could have taken it from here but it does add some credibility at least. My friend just bought a 64 MB Ti 4200 from Newegg for $150. The other site said this is a 128 MB card which makes this a great deal. I would definitely get in on it if I had any money....

they have a scan of the bb flyer on page 5 now at f@t-"thing that you put the money in"'s forums. I bought one - OC'ed to 310/540. 3Dmark2K1SE is 10230 on my P4 @ 2320. For comparison, my Ti200 @ 220/500 gets 8422. Decided to return it, considering my Ti200 will only sell for ~$75. But in FSAA performance, the Ti4200 is excellent - 8200 with Quincunx on.

Anyway, this is my experience. YMMV - a warm deal IMO.

FYI: the pdf rebate with an expiration date of 6/30 that is floating around is probably a forgery. The actual rebate form on BB's site shows an expiration date of 6/29, but the rebate doesn't have to be postmarked until 7/31.
BB is supposed to lower the price to $179.99 plus a $10 GC on Sun 6/30. I have seen a copy of the scanned ad, hopefully it's real.
Here is what I did. Buy the card today for $219 and pick up the rebate form. On 6/30, go back to BB and PM the $40 dollar differnce to $179.99 and get the $10 GC. Send in the rebate after you get the PM. If it doesn't work, you can simply return the card for your money back under BB's return policy, no harm done.
IMO, $150, even after MIR, for any GF4 ti4200 128MB is a pretty hot deal.

If you go to Buy.com they have the .pdf of the rebate form and it says it's through 6/30. Just print that one out, buy the card at BestBuy on Sunday and your good to go. $150 for a GF4 128 is pretty darn good, but w/o the VIVO and considering the wait for the rebate check, not quite so hot.

Sorry, this has nothing to do with the deal, but I was just curious as to what VIVO is. I know it stands for video in video out, but what is its use.

VIVO is video in/video out like you said. Basically it means you can Output to a TV and Input from a video souce and capture the video using the card.

Yes, you can attach a DVI to VGA convertor but unlike almost every other GF4 out there, the Visiontek doesn't come with one. It also doesn't come with any cables and the software bundle is almost non-existent. On top of that, the one I got was a pathetic overclocker for a Ti4200, only stable to 310/515. I'm ordering a different brand from Newegg and taking this POS back.

I just bought an ABIT GeForce 4 4200 for $145 plus shipping at newegg.com, so this deal isn't all that great. It isn't a great overclocker, but it at least comes with a VGA to DVI adapter.

and if something is wrong with this card, one can just drive back and exchange it. with newegg, one has to rma -- unless somebody's got a hot deal on video card teleporters (i'll buy that for a dollar!)

Yeah, but the memory used in the 64MB cards is faster than the 128MB cards, so the performance in most games is a wash.

Besides, I hate filling out rebate forms, and waiting to see IF I'll get my money back.
