Warm: Xbox 360 Pro for $249.99 after $50 GC

Went to Target yesterday and they had the Xbox 360 Pro systems for $299.99 plus you get a $50 gift card for your next purchase so comes out to $249.99 after the gift card.

I also had a register coupon for $10 off $50 in the electronics department so ended up costing me only $239.99.

But see, it cant be $250 after the card... It's still $300 because you can only use the card toward the NEXT purchase, and for many, god knows when that will be. I'm not saying anything, still a great deal, but not a deal for me.

Thought:

1) Buy Xbox360(1), pay $300, receive $50 GC(1)
2) Buy Xbox360(2), pay $50 GC(1) + $250. Receive $50 GC(2)
3) Return Xbox360(1) and GC(2).
End result: You keep the 2nd Xbox360, having spent $250 + tax on $300.

I see your point. We pretty much use Target as our local supermarket and spend at least $200/month there, so works out well for us.

This wouldn't work because Target will only refund you $249.99 when you return Xbox360(1) since they gave you a $50 GC.
