I just heard from Lian Li Headquarters. They apologized and said that they were sending the HDD Fixed Screws! Well, for the manufacturer to respond to me is a sign that they do mean well!

You should keep in mind that this is not a small company producing a tiny number of products that only has a few customers. Taking under a week to get back to you is pretty good, especially since they are not based out of the US. I sent an email to them requesting information about the fans inside the V1100 case, but didn't get what I wanted for info. I asked for full spec's and they just gave me the size (which I already knew). I wanted the exact CFM, RPM, and dBA ratings of the fans (got the information from another source).
As for the missing screws... As I previously mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised if that shipment/lot was done on either a Friday or Monday. Those are notorious for being the worst days for manufacturing things. People are either looking forward to the weekend, or still recovering from the weekend. More errors are made on those days than the rest of the week combined.
Also keep in mind, the packages are done by human beings, which make mistakes. IF the full production line, from start to shipping, was 100% automated, then I'd question it more. Since I seriously doubt it is, mistakes can (and will) happen...
For the people commenting about the 'low quality' of the V series case, don't judge a line/product/manufacturer on models on display. I've seen floor models beat to crap and back again. Same items coming from a distributor has been flawless...
