Look idiots, these types of scams have been posted here before and been welcomed. Yes, most of us would not fall for this but there are some that would and they BENEFIT from this type of post. Scammers like this only count on 1 or 2 per thousand to bite. That makes it more than worth it for them. If you don't think that one out of a thousand would fall for this then you are mistaken. It happens.
In other words, don't trash a thread that just might help someone. I'm sure you have better things to do; don't you? Well, maybe not.......! :disgust:

These Paypal warning threads are posted at least once a week. I'm not sure they add a whole lot of value here...

Not everyone checks every thread on every AT forum every 15 minutes 24hours a day every day. I'm lucky to troll a forum or 2, a few threads that catch my eye, read SOME of the posts, EVERY FEW DAYS or so, certainly not everyday. Some people have lives. Scammers and spammers make sure they succeed by attacking anyone and every possible as much as possible. Certainly you don't think it will only take one message of warning to fight back?

Shame on you all you who haggle someone trying to help, shame on you for indirectly helping scammers/spammers...

Exactly.

People don't go into a thread about a printer and say "don't post this crap, I don't need a printer".

If you'll notice, not once ever has a thread like this been locked. Apparently the moderators think it's OK to be reminded once in a while, and since they have the authority here - it seems that you elitist bastards should just STFU about it and keep on moving along.
