I hope the mods will let this stay here as I didn't notice a real place for this. Since people come here a lot and this is important, here goes:

I didn't wait for them to do the right thing. They have been stonewalling us for weeks (almost a month). I immediately disputed the amount of the charge related to undelivered merchandise.

THEY ARE NOT FULFILLING ANY ORDERS ACCORDING TO THEIR SITE.

This may even be of interest to those who have their furniture and got it recently, but paid for a warranty on which they cannot deliver. I do not know if they use a third party for the warranty, so read the agreement.

My wife knows someone that just bought a new living room set from them the day before they closed shop. Paid via debit card (stupid!). Sucks to be them.

Isn't HomeLife owned by SEARS? I believe they are. I'd dispute these issues with Sears.

Here is the FAQ section from the Sears Web site:

Your Sears card is accepted at over 3,300 locations including: all Sears stores, Sears Hardware, Sears Shop at Home Catalogs, Sears Auto Centers, Sears Authorized Dealer Stores, Sears Parts and Services, Orchard Supply Hardware, HomeLife Furniture Stores, Sears Flowers, and any Sears Licensed Business.


It's no wonder that they are out of business. Every time I drove by their store in my area, the parking lot had only a few cars in it which probably amounted to those that belonged to the sales personnel.
