Greetings. Since it's the cheapest 7800xt in my region and my motherboard is of the same brand and therefore sharing the same RGB (and maybe fan curve) software, I was ready to buy a Gigabyte Windforce Gaming OC 7800xt.
Then I decided to read opinions, and people were saying that:
- Gigabyte is famous for bad GPUs. (hmmm I did have a 9600gt ages ago, and true, it wasn't too good)
- Gigabyte fans use sleeve bearings and therefore supposed to start getting noisy in a few months
- They use cheap materials
- Bad support
Does any of that make sense? Anyone with a recent Gigabyte experience - especially the 7800xt - to confirm any of those?
Despite it's price, I am starting to seriously consider a Pure or Hellhound for $30 Canadian dollars more
Thanks in advance!
