Driving lit is stupid, but being lit after 5 beers does make you a pussy.

how does 10 sound? after 5 games of beer pong and 2 cans a game thats about 10 beers divided into 2 people=5 beers per-person plus the 5 i drank casually. So driving after 10 beers essentially is being a pussy? then i guess im a pussy? I value LIFE

Didn't read the thread to well...as it is kinda lame. 10 beers being lit is acceptable.

no, you weren't being a pussy. but the fact that your chief concern about driving drunk and getting in an accident is that you might chip the paint on your sweet ghetto ride, and not the potential for killing someone else....is rather concerning.

This exactly.

The OP sounds like a complete douchebag and the posts he has made on this forum seem to be confirming this statement. You should never drink and drive, ever. I'm personally way against anyone drinking and driving even in the slightest amounts. Anything to impair your shitty driving skills is reason enough for you to stay the fuck off the road.

I think you made the right choice for the wrong reasons. Still, whatever gets you to not drive drunk, that's fine. Whether or not 5 beers has you hammered or lightly buzzed, its going to be a photo finish on the breathalyzer if you get pulled over. Never worth the risk.

You might not be a pussy, but if you have to ask a forum if you should drive drunk or not, you just might be dumb as a box of rocks.

the fail here was that keeping your car in one piece was the only reason you didn't want to drive drunk.

Im dead serious. Life sucks some times, i just had to get into an accident i was minding my own business at red but turning green light. it turns green im half way into the intersection and bamm! some joe hillbilly in a 1980's f100 just hit me dead on. thank god i wasn't hurt badly just a scrape and some bruising.

For some reason you're proud of yourself for being able to buy a 3 year old car when you're 19, even though you were forced to take a semester off to raise money for college because of the car...

You should have stayed up with the douche roommate, kept him drinking until he passed out, put him behind the wheel of his car and then pushed it out onto a public street with the flashers on.

When he finally gets out of jail ask him "who's the pussy now?"

So we were at a friends house last night playing beerpong for a couple hours. I played about 5 games and drank roughly 5 beers (cans) and i was slightly buzzin. Now i drink almost never and i would consider myself a light weight. I asked my buddy if i could crash on the couch and being my bestfriend off course he said sure and let me crash. His roommate who is a semi decent guy, said i was being a pussy not driving home.

I care about my car alot and never would want to risk it being in an accident. Its flawless and even the light scratch sets me off.

would you drive home (30 mins) after 5 beers cans and 5 games of beerpong?
i think you know very well that the consensus here is not going to condone drinking and driving.

I guess after your other threads you needed a pat on the back?

Hell No I Won't Go!

Around here you get 24 hours license suspension ++ your car towed & impound for greater than 40 milligrams, alcohol in blood level. At 80 milligrams or greater is an automatic 90 days suspension ++ towed/impound car and $500 fines.

Yes, I read what you typed. You don't understand that financially responsible people maintain an emergency fund so unexpected expenses don't have that kind of impact. You should not be proud of yourself for buying a car and putting yourself in a risky position. You should feel dumb, because it forced you to waste more of your life working at a low paying job.

Or option c: you could have bought a cheaper car to drive around so you wouldn't be stuck in a money hole.

i must say, this is a pretty idiotic decision. a more financially responsible person woulda bought a 15 year old accord or something, those things never break. plus there'd be lots of money left over so when something like this happens you're not delaying your education.

oh well, we all do stupid stuff at that age.
