I personally thinking it's probably #2. 2000 years ago, there was no reliable mass communication, and all news spread by word of mouth. That's how exaggerations and legends start (e.g. King Arthur and his magical sword, Paul Bunyan, etc.)

we have reliable mass media?

Amen, to that. I would guess cheesecake since they actually had a roman dish like that back then, but no refined grains for real cake or pie.

But historical documents don't show what kind of dessert he liked. Inquiring minds want to know. Come on, Cooler, stay on topic.

Well since he came from Jewish family the food must be kosher

The dairy and the meat wouldn't be mixed. The Cheesecake consisted of curdled cheese and honey mixed with some grains and heated in an oven. Not sure if that is Kosher because I don't know the process of the cheesemaking, but it was a middle eastern dish.

But that wouldn't prevent them from eating a Sundae.

Jesus is still alive as far as I know because I saw him yesterday. He's not divine, or at least I don't think he is, but I prefer women so who am I to know. He's the latino guy that lives two doors down from me. I didn't see this answer in your poll.

Can you say Threadjacked. . .

What type of dessert did Jesus like?

Very Funny
Numbers 6:19 (King James Version)
19And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:

I vote cake on the thread jack. . . After all Christians consider Jesus a priest and He was a Nazarine, but I can't seem to find any real preference, just my opinion. . .

And

I voted existed and was divine. . . on the original topic.

What's your thoughts on this Big Bang? I reason there are three possibilities:

1. It never existed.
2. It existed, but was not God that created the Bang.
3. It existed, but was God that created the Bang.

How the hell should I know, I wasn't around 2000 years ago.
I'll lean towards "there existed a person who was named Jesus", and he was just some dude. Over the years, Myths and stories have been told exagerating him. Sorta like Paul Bunyon / Chuck Norris type stuff. I don't believe there was every any "divine" being. But people should just believe whatever they think is true.

there's plenty of historical evidence to prove Jesus's existence...
but i will tell u right now.. he wasn't sent by God... and religions are like poison to ur soul.. step out of it .. especially the one that tells you everyone else but them are going to hell..
