For the first 3 weeks no one could beat me in Street Fighter II. I always used Dhalsim and mashed all the buttons.

You don't know jack.

At least, for a while, until I started playing against my pre-med friend.

Holy hot damn, it was fierce competition. The best victory I had over him was when YDKJ4 chose "Drugs" as the topic, and I SOUNDLY whooped his ass, even though he was a part time "pharmaceuticals dealer."

I used to always beat my friends whenever I played Warcraft 2 with them.

I'd also say Rainbow 6 - my friends and I would play online on a team of 3-4 and have everyone else that joined the game join the other team b/c we usually won

Bases Loaded? That was a cheap game!

There was a particular player on a particular team. A pitcher actually.

I'm not talking about "Paste" either.

Black dude who my friend was a master of. It was so cheap because he could go all 9 innings and once he lost his speed around the 5th or 6th inning he became unhittable.

It was a specific pitch way up and towards the body. You couldn't touch that pitch even if you played it for fun and not for real. All of 56-57 mph too. You had to play really well and pray that you had a lead by the time he lost his speed otherwise you couldn't score runs much less get on base.

Absolutely frustrating.

Back to the thread on hand:

I was pretty good at Mario Kart on N64 and Mortal Kombat for the arcade. I was really good at GoldenEye deathmatch and I only met my equal when my cousin from the States came up and we played to a standstill for over an hour (I think) before registering a a single kill. By that time I was exhausted and gave up. I had other things to do than bash my head against a mirror-skill opponent.

For those of you that said Starcraft Mame and Goodtogo, please play me, ok? Btw, even the best starcraft players lose. Starcraft is not a game where you can win every time.

Goldeneye for N64.

I only lost once (by one point), and that was after a long night of drinking, and me taking (unknowingly) a broken controller (you had to press left 2x to turn left).

That has to be the greatest card game ever (especially when you combine every expansion into one deck).

No video game I can think of, but I am a GOD at Bubblehockey in the arcades, and also one hell of a badminton player. In phys-ed during high school, I won the badminton title all by myself, playing against doubles teams.

Once me and a friend both picked up Mario Tennis from Blockbuster for 5 bucks each, and started playing religiously for a few months. Near the end our matches would last hours because each volley would last like .... 50 hits and we would have 10-12 deuces.
Oh, and I'm pretty good at Mario Kart 64 ... except when I am drunk. Then I am absolutely unbeatable. I think the alcohol puts you into a zen state and you kind of ... feel the course. After playing Toad's Turnpike millions of times, I am fairly confident I can drive backwards on the freeway.

Techmo super bowl (nes), since then I've always been above average to hax status on fps games from Action Quake2 to CS, and now on natural selection. By the time I get good enough to be called a hacker constantly I move on to a "new"game.

Yea, Halflife. But WAY before everyone got so good and all those strategy versions came out. I dominated with the shot gun, i would run up to anyone and just knock their heads off. I guess I played more than anyone else cause when everyone else caught up I lost interest.
