Last week I flew to Baltimore, MD from Huntsville, AL. I had an early flight at 6:30 am and i had showed up an 1hr to the airport so i was tired and wanted to go straight to sleep on the plane. Well I check in pass security and board the plane and was not randomly selected for search. Well Huntsville doesnt have a direct flight so I had to fly to memphis first, this flight was no problem since I slept through it. When I get to my next flight from Memphis to Detroit I bored the plane no problems again and I put my bags in the overhead and grab a pillow to continue my sleep. I had a window sit and I go and sit down, a few minutes later this lady sits in the aisle seat in my row and there is a seat between, and she says hi to me and I say Hi to her also and she introduces herself and I introduce myself back to her. Well My name is middle eastern and my parents are from the middle east. Well the lady suddenly quites down and I want to return to my sleep. She calls over the stewardess and tells her that she feels uncomfortable sitting in the chair next to me, and requests to move to another seat on the plane. Well the stewardess is like okay let me find you a seat. And she does and the lady moves, I at this point really dont think much about it and am i hyped that I have the three seats all to myself so I can stretch out and sleep the rest of the flight. But I was kind of hurt that this lady refused to sit next to me on a plane based upon where my middle eastern roots.
