I'm married then years. This year I bought her a 5 bed room, 3,600 square foot home, a new car and took her on a cruise to Italy. VDay doesn't have much meaning to me or her. We didn't do anything other than say "Happy VDay" this morning. :biggrin:

Made S.O dinner (16 oz boneless ribeyes) with all the fixings we like. Got...dessert, so to speak. Watched a movie. Wasn't bad. However, if it wasn't valentines day we would have probably done the same thing (maybe without $25 in steaks).

Mine was. Poured the cement for a drain I moved in my basement. It's curing now.

It was wonderful! I spent the whole day with someone I really love (myself) doing things I really enjoy (browsing the web and playing Skyrim).

Definite success. Got home early, managed to clear some items off the "honey do" list, helped her plan the Paris trip she is taking with her sister, and made reservations for bed and breakfast place on the lake (yeah its still winter, but something about going out on the pier after dark....). "Sweat equity" more then anything but it put brownie points into the account

No I was working all day got home really late and we were suppose to go see a movie.

Couldn't see her for long as I had to go and sleep since I've been at work since 4am. She's upset but well have to do something later this weekend.

My opinion it's a stupid holiday but I still try to acknowledge it's presence.
