Water Build Questions

So I am in the initial planning stages for a full system rebuild with cpu, mosfet, and dual gpu blocks. I am not completely set on HW atm, but it will probably be an i7 and dual 6850s.

My possible loop will be as follows, nothing set in stone.

Corsair 800d to house it all.
120x3 Rad (manufacturer/model suggestions, scoping koolance atm).
140x1 Rad (same as above).
452x2 Res with 2 pmp-450s in serial (see question below).
Full coverage GPU blocks (manufacturer suggestions here, scoping EK)
CPU block (completely lost on this one, EK mehbe?)
Rheosmart 6 Fan Controller.

The loop will be setup as such:
Pump out > 120x3 > CPU > MOSFETs > 140x1 > GPUs > Pump in

So to the questions.

Firstly as you can see I am pretty new to the scene and would like some input on prefered models and manufacturers that people are having success with.

Secondly, is 120x3 and 140x1 enough? Each will only have push fans on them, and I would like to keep the noise at a reasonably low level, though silent is not necessary.

Also, with the res above, it says to hook an inlet of one to the outlet of the other, but I am pretty sure the inlets just dump into the res, so is one of the pumps really just pushing water in the res? Or will it be drawing water up through the end of the loop (I never took fluid dynamics >< ).

Finally, I read alot of people suggesting to use just plain distilled water and some silver. I like this idea but are there any drawbacks, and can I still use UV dyes?

Any help is greatly appreciated, I am sure I will stumble across more as I keep investigating. Thanks in advance

first off the bay res's are a pain to bleed properly if your new to watercooling.

So unless your willing to have some patience with it, and u dont mind tilt the case every now and then while bleeding, it will work.

However i heard in the corsair cases, all bay res's have slight problems mounting, so do a bit of research.

Also, for rads.. whats your budget? whats your aim? you looking at quieting your system? Or you going after raw performance? Also you trying to save budget, or you going after that is the best?

Budget - Swiftech MCR320.
Best - somewhere between a XSPC RX360, PA120.3, HWLabs GTX. <--- greatly depends on how loud u want to turn up fans.

Yea after reading some reviews, I think the MCR320 is about the price/performance range I'm looking for. Basically I am looking for good thermals more than totally silent. I would like to keep the price reasonable so some of those $100+ radiators are a little much. Any suggestions on a single 120mm?

I guess I could provide a bit more info about my goal. This will be a folding/gaming box, whenever I'm not gaming it will be folding. I plan to OC some but I am not gonna go crazy with voltages so it shouldn't be too stressful. Finally I'm not to antsy about bleeding and I am somewhat handy so a bit of dremel work on the res shouldn't be an issue (I saw the build log of the guy with the XSPC res in the 800d that had a problem, crossing fingers I can get by without but its not game breaking).

I am still very curious as to what you all think about the dual pump setup with that res.

1 of my xpsc reservoirs had serious issues going in, the 2nd one was fine. Not sure if that is the reservoir's fault or the case (i lean towards the reservoir)

I have a 3x120 on the bottom of my 700D. Also, I had no problems mounting a bay res before I got rid of it.

I have a 452x2 as well with 2 mcp 655's in serial ... the only thing I had to do was put a hose out the left fill port, and tipped/swooshed, on/off for a bit.

I also took both acrylics out, they were not doing squat.

Bled perfectly ... every 20~ minutes I hear some microbubbles, but then they go away. I know Koolance is working on some proper inserts, they said to just follow their homepage for a fix, when it comes out.

It took a good bit of modding. I have a regular sized PSU. I would have had no room without a few cuts. Nothing a dremel couldn't handle.

no u can attach a tline to the unit and help you bleed.

but it still takes time..

402x2 takes less time to bleed, if that helps, haha.

I would rather not have to mod the case much, thus the 120x3 and 140x1. The 140 will attach to the vent on the rear of the case.
