Wow thats a great price... lowest I've seen was from xoxide.com @ $119 2 months ago but they're all gone now. Keep us posted if you get yours ok... resellerratings.com isnt exactly encouraging.

Shipping was cheap compared to other places, $25 for ups ground. Yea I looked at reseller ratings but they were listed on koolance's website. Getting my blocks from zipzoomfly.com

How quiet are the pumps and the radiator fans on these?

my brother has this case... its awfully quiet... the only time you'll probably hear something is during the startup when the fans start spinning and then they quiet down. the problem is we still needed a few case fans since the mobo temp sensor was hotter than the cpu on idle.

let me get this straight... this case comes with ALL the water cooling components preinstalled except for the water blocks?!? Radiator, pump, tubes.. EVERYTHING?? For $100 ?!? Hot damn... might have to get this for my mobile barton system... anyone know if i'll have to change anythign around if I decide to go A64 later on?

Also what's the diff between the 601 and 650?

You would probabaly have to get a differen't mounting bracket for your water block that is A64 compatible; or maybe another waterblock altogether.

For what its worth, you can get the PC2-650BU case for $10 more at coolerguys, which has a much better reseller rating. Unfortunately, they charge $10 more for shipping than infotechnow (31 vs 21 to Chicago)

The cases come with radiator, fans, dual pumps, reservoir, tubing, and coolant. You buy the power supply and water blocks separately. The CPU blocks come in different wattages. Get a 300W block now so you wont need a new one when you switch up to a A64 later. The blocks come with brackets for Athlon and P4. You need to buy the A64 adapter. The only difference between the 601 and 650 is the front panel. The 650 has front USB and firewire ports and a fancy lighted bezel. The case itself is exactly the same. In fact, you can buy the bezel to upgrade your 601 to a 650.

These systems are pretty quiet. Check out the review on overclockers.com. Almost all my systems are in Koolance cases. I have 3 PC2-C running Athlon XP's between 2100+-3000+ at 33C degrees under full load, with the hard drive coolers, and a Radeon 9800XT cooler on one. Another PC2-C running a dual Athlon 2600+ system at 36C under full load. A PC2-650 runs a second Athlon 2600+ at 34C full load. Then a ExOS-AL running a dual Opteron 250 with a 6800 Ultra at 38C full load.

In case it wasn't apparent, Infotechnow.com IS Koolance USA. They have the same address and the same employees and same phone numbers. If you order something from the Koolance store, it will come in an Infotechnow box. Although the 2 stores have different pricing and inventory, they are the same company.

I have been dealing with them for a while now. Koolance's early systems had plenty of problems, but they (Koolance/Infotechnow) replaced 3 early cases that had problems after I had them for 6-7 months. It did take a week delivery time each direction for the exchange. Now, I think their systems are great especially when you get a good deal. Check directron.com, xoxide.com, and newegg.com for water block pricing.

As mentioned, you will probably need 2 80mm fans in the rear of the case as there is no air circulation inside the case. The radiator and the 3 fans at the top are sealed off from the rest of the case. My motherboard and the hard drives (that weren't water cooled) got very hot without case fans. I got some quiet Panaflo's and hooked them to the temp-controlled connectors on my Antec True power supply.

Koolance and Infotech aren't the same company, but they are owned by the same guy. Used to be in the same building but not now.
I worked at infotech for two years so I am quite familiar with the company
It's really a shame about their resellerratings... they used to have a pretty good rating, had pretty good customer service.... the vast majority of their customers came from word of mouth advertising...
Almost everyone that worked at infotech while I did is gone now... only a few remaining...
I still really like the company and do most of my computer parts shopping there...

Oh, and I got you guys beat in the deal department... Got a exos as a christmas gift from infotech one year

As stated previously, the radiator fans are generally pretty quiet, besides when first turned on and when you are in performance mode (full pumping and fan speed 100% of the time). Quieter, in any rate, than your typical CPU/GPU fan.

When I first got this system all hooked up, I found out just how loud my old 15GB Seagate drive was, and had to replace it. Now I notice hiss on my speakers I never noticed before. I guess there's always going to be something louder.

EDIT: I also got my blocks from ZZF. You can't beat free 2nd day shipping.

Yea, a bit worried about their reseller's rating but, $100+$25 shipping, for this case was too good to not pass up. If anything, I'll just dispute with CC company. If its bad, zipzoomfly.com has the 650BU for $142 but $40 for shipping =/

WOW, that name is a blast from the past. I remember getting my first new system after college from them. Are they still in the same small shop? That place was packed every weekend. The guy must be making a mint off of it.

Anyone know if this is a special sale or something? I'm going to do an upgrade fairly soon but I was planning on putting it off for a few more months. This case looks awesome for $100.
