If you really want to get a kit try this one. You will need to add a block for the vid card if you want one. You could also piece one together w/ a Storm rev.2 for a few $$ more and a little better performance.

The Best Watercooling kit is the custo,/DIY kit. How much money do you want to spend?

Money isnt a question at this point, I want my system to be under 40 C under load even if overclocked.

Any ideas?

I thought about the ZALMAN Fanless solution but thats not good enough.

Please advise.

Here's what I would recommend:

Swiftech Storm rev.2 w/ IHS removed
Swiftech MCP655 pump
Thermochill PA120.3 w/ Yate Loons for silence or heatercore w/ shroud
Maze4 w/ ocz ramsinks
7/16 MasterKleer tubing
res or t-line (won't matter)
distilled water w/ a little anti-algae

EDIT: Should be a pretty good set-up but 40c under load really depends on your OC, ambient temp, case fans etc. Might not make it.

You don't need to remove the IHS for great temps. It is, after all, thermally bonded to the core. I'm using a Storm rev. 1 and my X2 hovers at about 1c over ambient idle, and 3c above at sustained load. Low temps are more an outcome of water velocity when it comes to the Storm and a large dissipator with powerful fans. slsmnaz is right about the Apex kit, it'll be a good starter unit. However, if you plan on expansion in the future you might be better off sourcing the parts and going with 1/2 ID for all the fittings.

Obviously hardwarrior is more exp. w/ water cooling than I (check his sig!). I just have read people getting a couple of deg better w/o IHS on the opteron. I also heard the Storm works better that way. I am going to try w/ mine. If it's not better then I just learned something! Plus I'm really trying for silent with mine. Should be a fun project.

I'm not sure any wc kit is going to really do what you are asking for.

Don't get me wrong slsmnaz, if 1 or 2C is important to someone, and they think they can get there without the IHS, it's fine by me. Personally, I think the guys at AMD did the right thing by using an IHS, if for no other reason than to protect the core. My point is that my X2 gets just about as close to ambient as it can be, with the IHS attached. Please, don't take what I said as a slam towards you. That's not how it was intended.

Don't worry, I didn't take it that way at all. I am just setting up my first WC project and have been reading up on many different things, the nekkid chip being one of them. I just ordered the parts I listed above (except I got a PA120.2) and really just like to mess around and see what I can do. I was just giving credit where it was due. I've been reading a lot but you have the set-up already.

Good, I'm glad I didn't offend you. Your first loop huh? Welcome then! I hope you find water as interesting and as fun as I have. If I were to offer any advice it would be to keep an open mind, and try to remember that water-cooling is as much a hobby as a form of thermal management. Keep us informed of your progress, and don't forget to lock-down your barbs.

to keep your CPU under 40c, try this kit out Cool It. i don't think you can add an extra block to the loop though, maybe you could. a little pricey, but half as expensive as phase change without the condensation worries. reviews of it have been great and it keeps OC's chips around ambient at load.

OMGWTF? $399 for that? I could build a complete custom build WC system inculding SLI GPU blocks for that money.
It's pointless to buy that thing.

@OP
Just built one yourself. It's not that hard and will save you sh!t load of money and offer better performance.
