Don't get me wrong slsmnaz, if 1 or 2C is important to someone, and they think they can get there without the IHS, it's fine by me. Personally, I think the guys at AMD did the right thing by using an IHS, if for no other reason than to protect the core. My point is that my X2 gets just about as close to ambient as it can be, with the IHS attached. Please, don't take what I said as a slam towards you. That's not how it was intended.

Don't worry, I didn't take it that way at all. I am just setting up my first WC project and have been reading up on many different things, the nekkid chip being one of them. I just ordered the parts I listed above (except I got a PA120.2) and really just like to mess around and see what I can do. I was just giving credit where it was due. I've been reading a lot but you have the set-up already.

Any ideas?
I thought about the ZALMAN Fanless solution but thats not good enough.
Please advise.

to keep your CPU under 40c, try this kit out Cool It. i don't think you can add an extra block to the loop though, maybe you could. a little pricey, but half as expensive as phase change without the condensation worries. reviews of it have been great and it keeps OC's chips around ambient at load.
