I just built a q6600 system and would like to go water cooled. I have 2 questions.

1) What are some good websites with good pumps and water blocks?

2) Is it a bad idea to install a radiator outside the house where it would be cooler, perhaps 40F cooler in the winter? Would there be condensation?

you'd have to have a good pump to pump liquid that far at decent pressure. but it'd be nice to exhaust all your heat outside as opposed to inside.

1. Dangerden.com and Frozencpu.com are both great sites for watercooling gear. Danger den performs a bit better than most of the other solutions, but it also usually substantially more expensive.

2. Yes, condensation would be a very real concern as soon as you go a few C below the temp in your house. Most people watercool with ambient temperature water because of this issue, waterproofing can be a major pain.

uhhh no.

Dangerden is almost complete crap. True its a lot better then koolance and Thermalcrap, and zalwish. But its still considered CRAP.

Swiftech, D-Tek, Thermochill is the main parts you should look at.

My favorite places to get water cooling supplies are:

Petra's Tech Shop
Jab-Tech
Sidewinder Computer Systems

They have very high ratings at resellerratings.com

My favorates but sidewinder im not too happy with right now. They borked my last order and refused to replace it. It was a tubing that I ordered. 1/2ID 3/4OD tygon. They sent me 3/8ID and 1/2OD tubing which is absolutely useless to me.

My alltime favorate is Jab-Tech. I know the owner quite well, and he's an absolute great guy.

TOP TIER PRODUCTS:
CPU blocks: ApogeeGTX BOWED
GPU Blocks: Ful cover EK's own DD
GPU only blocks: MCW60 has the best performance with the least pressure dropage.
Radiators: Thermochill PA120.3
Pumps: IWAKI RD-30 /w Meanwell S150-24 <--- thats what im running.
Chipset blocks: MCW30 <--- extremely universal and has the least pressure drop.

Average setup:
D-tek Fusion <--- still a great cpu block, but it gets beaten by a bowed GTX.
MCR320 <--- swiftech rads are great and affordable
MCP655 <--- Great pump but slightly big.
MCW60

Low End setup:
ApogeeGT Bowed
MCR220
MCP655 or DDC-3.2 aka MCP355 (note most websites will not list the DDC-2 as 3.2 To my knowledge the DDC-2 is no longer sold anywhere. If you can find an original DDC-2 that would be my first pick)

@ Acanthus
Please do some research b4 you recomend something. Even your proplyene glycol is not a good additive for watercoolant.

LASTLY OP!
This thread belongs in the case and cooling section. More then Half the readers in the CPU Overclocking section have no idea on where to start with water. Case and Cooling is much more suited to ask questions.

Also you should read my sticky in case and cooling. There is a link on it in my sig as well. It should help you out with the basics.
