Water Cooling

i'd like to water cool, but i can't get past the idea of having water near my computer

yea but that thing costs like 50 bucks on thier site and taht is way to expensive for me ... remember i'm going to school so its not like i make alot of money and have alot left over so every dime i save i can put towards food

I just bought a danner model 3, 350gph. Is this pump overkill?

Does anyone have a link(diagram) of how to hook a pump up to the power supply. I just checked the specs on the danner and it's 115V 60Hz 35Watts .75 amp. Would this be able to run off a power supply?

That pump will not be overkill. My pump is the Eheim 1250, which pumps 317gph. You MIGHT want to put in a flow valve though, and test out if restricting your flow some drops or raises temperatures. This article should explain that better.

As for running it off your powersupply, that is impossible. It's 115v AC, which means that it's gotta be plugged into the wall. Your powersupply only supplies 12v DC, from each connector.

well the dual radatior strait heads are outta stock for 2 weeks but the eblowed ones are in so i ordered that .... next up a water pump , then with next pay check my water jacket

thought i would bring this thread up on more time , petsmart.com has the danner pumps , they also have a 10 coupon off a 30 dollar or more purchase , just type SUMMERSALE when it asks for an electronic coupon . Here is the question do you think the 250 is big enough or should i spend ten more and get the 300 ?
