Honeydew...but its so damn hard to pick a good one. I've had so many that tasted bland so I don't bother getting them anymore..especially not at 4 bucks a pop. But ripe and sweet honeydew is pretty damn good.

Not a big melon fan. They're all good, but I have a hard time getting excited over them. I haven't had rhubarb since I was a kid, but I loved it then. I'd pick it in the back yard, and eat til I got sick.

I guess I'll go with watermelon. Been eating it with salt lately, and that's pretty good.

It's hard to find good honeydew and cantaloupe, but when you do they are better than watermelon. Watermelon is far more consistent, though, and is still excellent.

Watermelon by a thousand miles. Look at all the Watermelon candies and drinks. Like 95% of the work out supplements I buy have a Watermelon flavor available. I never see Cantaloupe or Honeydew flavored anything. With that said I like Honeydew a lot, and if I'm hungry and it's free I'll eat Cantaloupe.

They said it was honeydew but I bought a honeydew this year and it was definitely not the same thing at all.

So you know how Honeydew has a good flavor, but not enough of it? What you want is a Canary Melon:

It looks like a smooth yellow football, but has a honeydew flavor with sweetness up on watermelon levels. My buddy at work just introduced me to them & I was blown away because I like the idea of a honeydew, but they never tasted very good to me. Note that these are NOT to be confused with the wrinkly yellow version, which is a totally different melon even though it looks almost the same (wrinkly not smooth).

It's a close tie between cantaloupe and honeydew. I think if I had to chose one I'd pick cantaloupe.

One was the size of a volleyball & the other was the size of a softball - both very small. Super super good though. Plus it was way cool eating a yellow watermelon :biggrin:
