Waterproof sheets of paper! HOW DO I DO IT?

I need to make gratings for this water maze I'm making in a lab and I need them to be sealed so the water doesnt mess up the pattern printed. The tests check mouse vision...

Its hard to explain hehe...I tried my best. The point is I need to print at a decently high DPI and it has to stay that way for a long while as making these over will be costing my lab money!

another complication is that it'll have to be able to withstand a LASER printer. These visual gratings have to be printed off at high qual.

Once it is printed you can try soaking it in cooking oil. That will keep the water out, and I don't think the oil will make the ink run. I know it works short-term for maps in wet weather. It might work for you.

Sorry about all 3 things but if you dont know what a grating is its basically a special patten or vertical lines that measure visual acuity. They also can test contrast sensitivity as the stripe can be shaded some. I'm sorry I didnt lay this out earlier, but there's no need to be cranky.
