I'm looking for a local pickup. I don't recall if any of my TA-ECCp team members were in the Dallas area.

Hi TNOGuy,

Danzigrules from Team Weazy (ECCp contest) will be buying the gear. If danzigrules is not able to complete the transaction I will let you know. I will know whether danzigrules is able to complete the transaction by Monday.

If you had contacted me before danzigrules did I would have no problems in selling the items to you.

It's regrettable that we were not able to keep the crack rack within the TeAm but I must honor the first person that found a solution to my 'pickup only' requirement.

I think we have most of the details ironed out on keeping the rig in the team. Between Networkman and I, we will be taking all the stuff... it's just a matter of arranging transportation for it all, and I think that is worked out too.... Rich is just waiting for confirmation on the shipper I believe

No "lock" was ever promised or implied by me, but I did take the extra effort within the TA 'For Sale' forum thread to ask you if you had found a friend to pickup the items and your response was 'Nope'.

I'm not in a position to wait indefinitely, so I posted my 'for sale' notice on multiple team forums.

It's regrettable that a solution from a TA DC'er was not the first solution received.

Don't take me wrong... wasn't accusing you of anything There was a whole bunch of communications zinging around and I guess we kinda forgot to include the most important person... YOU... in the list! Our bad... not yours! I'm glad you found a buyer for that setup and was only trying to find a way to help you out and work out keeping the rig in the team... is all.

Yeah, I didn't know if anything was definite; I also wasn't sure how stringent the "local pickup only" part was. I can easily see RC not wanting to get bogged down in shipping to 6 different people, but I just couldn't believe that one person wanting it(who's willing to pay shipping) was so unreasonable.

Networkman - The sale price was set low since I was requesting 'pickup only' and I had no interest in packaging up all the fragile items. I had no interest in packaging all the items for one person, even though such a request is not unreasonable. Hope this clears up any confusion you may have.

Now for an update, I just received an email from danzigrules and he has informed me that he will not be able to complete the transaction.

Have the person that will perform the pickup contact me via ta_ogr at yahoo dot com and I will work with him to set up a pickup time. Please inform him that pickup is available Mon thru Fri 9a till 2p. The $350 may be in cash or US Postal money order, with preference given to cash. It will be the duty of the person picking up the items to pick up the items and package the items at his/her residence.

If the 'actual' buyer(s) have any additional questions for me, please use my yahoo account for correspondence. The refresh time on this forum (non-subscriber) is more than I can tolerate.

I'm glad that the crack rack will remain with the TeAm.

JonB lives south of Fort Worth in Granbury, Texas and has contacted me asking if the price of $350 includes all items listed. I assured him it does. He says he is not currently in the market for more PCs. I live in Sachse, Texas (NE Dallas county) approximately 95 miles from Granbury, about 2.5 to 3.0 hours away depending on traffic accidents and freeway maintenance work.

JonB has not said that he was interested in picking up the items for another TA'er but if you twist his arm enough he might agree... just a thought. If TNOGuy's friend is not able to pickup the items you might want to consider asking JonB.
